Amazing grace! How sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught My heart to fear, And grace my Fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed!
Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come;
’Tis grace hath bro’t me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be, As long as life endures.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun,
We’ll have no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we first begun.
– Hymn: Amazing Grace
Throughout my life, I have discovered that the Lord has made His will extremely clear when I am at my lowest. He has spoken in a voice so confirming that it is the only thing there is to cling to. Today, I praise Him for His redeeming love and amazing grace. Out of broken pieces, He created The Sounds of Grace and I can firmly claim that He will continue to build beautiful works throughout broken families, buildings, careers, children, bodies and minds for centuries to come. We are in His hand and His will, not ours; will prevail and His amazing grace will forever reign.
