Fr. John Sosnowski and his wife, Patti, are critical to the growth and strengthening of our parish. Having moved inland from coastal waters, the Sosnowskis have embraced this parish and lent their talents and expertise, and their faithfulness, to many of the ministries here at Holy Comforter.
Fr. Charlie Walton was previously rector at Holy Comforter from 1985 to 1995. He and his wife, Anne, have retired to Sumter and Fr. Charlie has made his many talents available to the church and the Anglican Diocese of South Carolina.
Phil Osborne is a retired U.S. Air Force officer (24 years), a Foreign Policy advisor for the Air Force, and is the Deacon at Holy Comforter. Annette Connor has a huge heart for the smallest members of the church and has seen many of her charges grow to adulthood and bring their own children to her.
Victoria (Tori) Griffin is the Children’s Director at Holy Comforter. As a former Sumter school teacher, she brings a love of children, teaching, and creativity to this ministry. She and her husband, Cale, are passionate about building strong Christian foundation in the lives of children.
Lori Grimm is gifted in the provision of the orderly functioning of the church. Her approach is God centered, led by the spirit of God and accomplished with a servant heart. She is able to maintain an appropriate balance, enabling people to serve.
Our parish family is continually blessed by Floride McKoy’s dedication, skill, and sensitivity in her playing and choice of music as our organist. She is a friend and source of good counsel to many in our parish and in our community.
Heath loves serving Jesus. In addition to serving the church, he serves at Crosswell Home for Children.
